One Leg Up 7.14.06

One Leg Up's new CD is entitled "Pere Lachaise," so it was only appropriate to hold their release party on Bastille Day. One Leg Up has become well known in the southeast for playing their accoustic gypsy jazz and latin groves that could revert even those resting in Pere Lachise to the swingin' streets of the Parisian jazz age. Everyone was there, including an electric pink flamingo with whom I shared a cigarette.
